My work in grief counselling and bereavement support is grounded in both formal education and lived experience.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology, where I developed a strong foundation in emotional well-being, human development, and supporting individuals through life transitions.

I have worked in counselling and academic environments, supporting individuals navigating change, uncertainty, and personal growth with care and intention.

In addition, I completed professional development in Death, Dying and Bereavement through Wilfrid Laurier University, further deepening my expertise in grief, loss, and compassionate care.

Approach

My approach integrates evidence-informed frameworks such as the Dual Process Model of Coping with Bereavement, alongside a deeply human, person-centred approach. With a background in counselling and academic advising, I offer thoughtful, grounded support for those experiencing grief and loss.
